Scouting is made up of “units,” the entities that conduct Scouting for the chartered organization. A unit consists of registered youth members and registered adult volunteer members. It may be a pack, troop, team, crew, or ship. Its affairs are administered by the unit committee, which is appointed by the chartered organization.
